Applicants should hold a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific or technical field. Typical backgrounds include physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering and related disciplines.
Applicants are expected to have working knowledge of at least one programming language such as C, C++, Fortran or Python.
A basic familiarity with Linux and command-line tools is required.
A good command of English, both written and spoken, is required as the programme is fully taught in English.
No prior knowledge of HPC is required. The programme starts from foundational concepts.
